Here is a brief overview of the development roadmap for onePOS for the next 6 months. While development timelines sometimes have some unexpected turns, we expect this schedule to be fairly accurate as we are truly focused on just a few HUGE features.
We are focused on making the product more chain worthy... unfortunately that means enhancements to our core products (Terminal, BackOffice, Fusion) will dramatically slow.
We have an outstanding product for independent restaurants now, and its time to broaden our horizons and get the product into some more regional and national chains.
June 2.7 - Wrap up of 2.x Features
Recertifications for First Data North, South, and PABP
Generic onePOS Gift Cards
Server Banks
Server Drops
Manager Notes
Manager Activity
Update: What was scheduled for 2.7 has been pushed back to an undetermined time. 2.7 now comprises many features to do with delivery, cashiering, and many other small tweaks to enhance the over all system... it was our largest release since 2.0!
July 2.8 - Loyalty / Web Exporting
Tweaks on Closing a Check
Bank Deposits
Loyalty
Generic Video Surveillance
Exporting
Loyalty will likely be released at the end of September as timelines changes with the 2.7 release and working on our support documentation and procedures.
October 2.9 - Web Menu Management / Web Importing
Web based menu management
SFTP / SOAP File Access
We still intend to start on this project this year, but a start date and/or release date is unknown.
