What's coming in 2.6.90

The primary focus of 2.7 is the start of our Loyalty system.  The loyalty system is an extension of our delivery system (customer name, address, phone numbers, etc...) and we discovered that we needed to add support for a few more critical features to our delivery system before switching onto loyalty.

Our "alpha" release of 2.7 is known as 2.6.90.  In this release we will support new features such as the ability to assign a Delivery Category and Customer Category to a customer, charge a customer a Delivery Charge based on their Delivery Category, give a discount or coupon to a customer based on their Customer Category, handle Coupons by Guest, and tag a customer to a check by scanning a unique Customer Card.  This also lead into a few new related features including assigning a Charge based on Dining Area (room service, takeout, etc).  While we were making all those changes, we picked out another 10 or so small requests as well as all the issues that have come in in the last month and added them all to the mix as well.  2.6.90 should be a feature packed release and should be out the first week of June!

As 2.6.90 gets out in the field we will continue to add on our loyalty code for 2.7.00 and should be ready in a month or so with a release.
