Referrals Make Giving Back Easy

Many sites have asked for a way to track sales to a group in order to be able to give back to those groups. Whether it is a restaurant on South Beach wanting to reward hotel concierges for sending guests their way or the local pizza buffet wanting to reward the little league team for having their friends and family dine in the restaurant, onePOS version 2.8 and higher makes this easy.

We call this a referral, and basically lets you track sales by department on a ticket to a referring group. At the end of the day / week / month / whatever you can print out a referral report and see how many tickets and total sales for each department have been associated with each referral group. You can tag a ticket to a referral group on the Check Options screen or by scanning a referral card (each referral group can have up to 10 cards assigned, you will likely get many cards of the same number to give out to members of that group).
